s we wrap up the September 2025 issue,
it is hard to believe that next month
Clean India Journal will celebrate
its 20th anniversary. Two decades
of chronicling the journey of India’s
cleaning and hygiene industry — and
Awhat a journey it has been!
At our office, the energy is palpable. The entire
team is buzzing with ideas, working to give the
magazine a fresh look, vibrant colours and a
contemporary approach that reflect how far we,
and the industry, have come. The past few editions
have been carrying out quiet trial runs and testing
layouts, tones & visuals to see how the pages can
truly come alive.

Now, as we prepare to unveil this refreshed
identity, one phrase captures the spirit of the
moment: #CIJLIVE — a celebration of 20 years
and a promise to stay dynamic and alive to every
new trend shaping cleaning and hygiene.
This September issue also turns the spotlight on
the evolving warehousing industry, which is fast
moving into 2.0. Is the cleaning sector ready to
match the technological requirements of modern
warehousing? Read on to find out.
Adding a fresh dimension, Different Strokes this
time features a podcast with Vandana Rao — the
celebrated athlete of yesteryears — offering life
lessons that resonate as much with cleaning as with
every other pursuit.
Bringing variety, this edition delves into
washroom hygiene, wastewater management,
laundry and housekeeping, placing each under
the scanner to remind us of what needs to be done
versus what is being done. One new article that
cannot be missed is the cleaning inside the aircraft,
which is new to CIJ.
As we stand at the threshold of a new era for
Clean India Journal, we look forward to an
