Ten years back, we started Clean India Show in just 500sqm and since then we have been consistently growing by 10-20% per year. The increasing participation from the top management has changed the quality of visitors, adding more potential and boosting the cleaning industry. With necessary awareness, we have been successful in moulding companies’ focus towards ‘better environment’.

The journey has been long and a constant challenge in bringing about a change in the fragmented Indian Cleaning Industry. Being looked upon as the Voice of the Indian Cleaning Industry, we have to take that voice forward to the government & corporate sector, the industries, SMEs, educational institutes and so on. It has been quite difficult to make them understand how proper cleanliness is necessary to maintain the right hygiene level at work places and surrounding areas.

Unveiling Clean India Awards….

In the 10th edition of Clean India Show, the launch of Clean India Awards will help motivate not only the supplier, manufacturer and consumer to move forward but the entire social network as well. The technical awards will motivate manufacturers, while the Civic awards will recognise the work done by the society in maintaining cleanliness & hygiene standards and in giving the best to the public.

Our aim through this award is more involvement, more awareness and more participation.

It is important to understand that cleaning is a business, and Clean India Pulire, having international and national exhibitors, will provide the perfect setting for networking and help budding entrepreneurs to enter the industry. GCCI aims to provide growth opportunity to our members by introducing them to the growing cleaning industry and take advantage of the platform that the show will grant.

RS Kamat, Director-General

Clean India Pulire, will be the apt platform with over 100 exhibitors for a shift from traditional cleaning methods to mechanized cleaning methods. Since, ushering a revolution from changing traditional maintenance and cleaning process by the modern method of using machines to be cost effective, have better quality, environment friendly and workers safety in mind is the need of the hour.

“Clean India Pulire, is an ideal opportunity to get all cleaning products and maintenance solutions available both internationally and indigenously on a single platform. The time is right to strategically position yourself in this new environment; “Clean India Show” will bring together the newer technology to your office, manufacturing unit or commercial space.

The availability of the latest technological advancements on hygiene and sanitation globally, in India, under one roof, is the testimony to the potential of the industry in the country.

Clean India Shows play a vital role in the development of commercial, industrial and economic activities especially for the cleaning and hygiene industry in the Indian subcontinent while providing opportunities for networking and establishing footholds in the emerging and competitive globalized market. We are sure; the exhibition provides an ideal platform to enhance the business opportunities for the cleaning and hygiene industries.

Into the 10th edition, the Clean India shows have been drawing visitors not just from across the country but also from other countries. The annual Show is the single largest platform for cleaning companies to expand their business and an all-solution-under-one-roof for end users.

Globally, multinational companies have set up cleaning business in India; thus bringing the best of the solutions for Indian consumers/users. With over 350 brands of products being showcased at Clean India Pulire 2013, there are solutions of all kinds of cleaning requirement from the floor to the ceiling.

In the last one year, while we have been spreading awareness about clean, cleaning and cleanliness, exclusive seminars were conducted in Tier-II cities besides publishing informative articles in Clean India Journal; apprising delegates and readers about latest cleaning technology being showcased at the Show. New robotic technology, FM software, waste management & recycling solutions, dry steam cleaning… and many more will be on display at the Show.
The Shows have come a long way and there is a lot more to do.

Mangala Chandran
Editor-in Chief – Clean India Journal and Director-Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd

Clean India Show has been showing a very interesting growth path since its humble launch in 2005–both in terms of its business potential and the scope it offers for knowledge enhancement. It is important to reiterate here that the show has been very ably holding together these two prime objectives and at the same time acting as a meeting place for the Indian Cleaning Industry. It has now been acknowledged that Clean India Show spearheaded the movement of professional cleaning and adoption of scientific cleaning practices in the commercial and institutional sectors.

The seminars which form a major component of the Show are always designed along with the Cleaning Industry so that the changing requirements and approaches are taken into account. Overall, the Show has been able to strengthen its profile of being the most effective platform in Asia for the most vital area: Cleanliness and Hygiene. However, there is ample room for improvement and expansion.
