Rooftop: rainwater harvesting systems in Schools
The Government of Karnataka, through the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department, has launched a rooftop rainwater harvesting programme for 23,683 schools across the state. The programme seeks to provide each student with 1.5 litres of drinking water every day through harvesting rainwater from rooftops of the schools.
