Research correlates cleanliness with colour appearance

In a recent online survey poll done on the behalf of Cintas Corporation, it has been found that the style and appearance of a restroom does indicate a lot about business, a deeper psychological connection to cleanliness, trust and dependability. The survey highlights the correlation between colour, style & appearance and the cleanliness of the restrooms.

While the 53% of participants selected white as the number one colour, 45% preferred blue. David Collette, Director of Foodservice, Cintas said, “Updating restrooms with a splash of colour in an unexpected place not only makes a big brand impact, it can also enhance the users’ perception of a business.”
