Parle Agro’s responsible waste recycling activity

Parle Agro mobilized its employees to coach and create awareness about waste management among 15,000 students in 15 locations last month. Students of government schools close to Parle offices were trained in segregated waste management methods, importance of disposing waste responsibly, process of recycling and how to reuse waste items at home.

The training and awareness building activity was an extension of Parle Agro’s commitment to invest over 50 crores in the next three years, to implement an end-to-end PET plastic waste management program. It will also facilitate an annual collection of 310 crore PET bottles, recycling nearly 50,000 metric tonnes of PET waste.
