Dr. Shakti has over 25 years of varied experience in setting up, managing & growing with ITes, BPO, Banking, Retail and Telecommunication companies’ Real Estate, Facility , Transport, Security , Administration , Procurement & other Resource management functions in India & South Asia.
In his present appointment with Reliance Retails he is managing a portfolio over 56 million Sqft which includes around 5600 stores / malls / distribution centres/Petro Outlets/Supplying Sites located over 650 cities in India for all Retail & Petroleum Business of Reliance Industries Ltd.
In his earlier assignment he worked with JLL as Senior Vice President where he managed Accenture Pan India portfolio over 6 Mn Sqft with a team size of over 700 staff , he also worked with Orange Business Services (France Telecom Group Company) as South Asia Head & managed real estate & facilities management portfolio across six countries. In his other assignments he worked as head of administration & facilities for various organizations like WNS Global Services, American Express, Vertex Customer Services, Global Vantedge (now AEGIS) & Shoppers Stop Ltd.
Shakti is Master in Commerce from Hyderabad before he completed his Master Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis Pune (SCDL)
He is also Professional Member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) & have recently completed his PhD in Management.
He is Certified “Internal Auditor “from LRQA for ISO 9001, “Auditor from BSI for ISO 20 & 27 K and “Lead Auditor” from BSI on “ISO 50001:2011 “on Energy Management requirements
He has completed Certificate courses on Leadership skills, Public Speaking Mastery, Project Management, Safety & Environment topics
Dr. Shakti is regular speaker in different forums like Management Colleges (IIM Jammu, K J Somaiya Mumbai) ,Business Schools (Symbiosis Nasik) , CII, IFMA & other Real Estate & Facility Management bodies in India & abroad , also appeared on Cover Story in Feb’17’s edition of Commercial Design Magazine & Leader’s Speak Magazines
