Falling short of staff to monitor and curb the menace of private tankers dumping untreated sewage waste onto vacant plots, greens belts and roadsides, the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has come up with an innovative idea – it has asked people to click pictures and lodge a complaint through social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter. The corporation has a page called “Nagar Nigam Gurgaon” on these social networking sites where citizen can also lodge complaints.
