Kolhapur Corporation seeks waste to energy solution

Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) is planning to outsource its scientific disposal of its 165TPD waste, to a competent agency based on the evaluation of Mumbai based consultant Crisil Limited.

Vijay Patil, Chief Sanitary Inspector informed Clean India Journal, “Based on the report from Crisil Limited, we will outsource Waste to Energy conversion project for a period of 20 years. Currently, only one bidder has submitted the technical report for the same. Crisil will soon evaluate the eligibility based on tender documents and detailed project report.”
