Clean Rail Solutions for Clean Air, Clean Water, Clean Linen & Waste Management

Concept Note

The Indian Railways is looking at establishing Clean and Green Railways with newer technologies, solutions, and products for cleaning, waste, and linen care. In association with Clean India Journal, the third one-day conference will be attended by 100 Indian Railway officials from the respective zones and the Railway Board these include CRSE, CME, Director-Mechanical (Coaching), Director-EnHM, Planning Department, Rolling Stock Department among others.

After the successful completion of two Clean Rail Conferences held in New Delhi and Mumbai, the third conference-- CRC-Zonal Meet 2 -- will bring together Railway officials of the Southern Railways, South Western Railways, South Central Railways, and South-Eastern Railways and other railways on a single platform at Radisson Blu, Chennai Central, Chennai on June 23, 2023.

The theme of CRC-ZM2 -- Efficient Cleaning & Maintenance Models for IR-- will focus on the minute details of cleaning challenges faced by the Railways during their routine cleaning & maintenance processes.

CRC-ZM2 will also introduce newer solutions for cleaning of the new trains running today.

The Indian Railways, the world’s largest carrier of passengers, is taking major initiatives in providing clean and hygienic experiences to its users and commuters while transitioning into the new era.
