Biodiesel from organic waste

The Netherlands based Solarix is working with the University of Amsterdam and Yellow Diesel BV to develop efficient biofuels. Using a new type of catalytic and an improved production method, raw material is converted into diesel more efficiently. The method is particularly well suited to processing organic waste material with a high fat content, such as frying fat and animal fat. The new biodiesel is cheaper, burns better and reduces soot emissions. The process can be integrated easily into existing biodiesel factories.
