exibitionThe unprecedented response MECTW received just reinforced the fact that Cleaning Industry is maturing in the GCC region; governments are focusing on city cleaning and the various sectors on professional cleaning to meet the required standards to enhance business opportunities. The growth of the professional cleaning sector was conceded by the fact that the Dubai Municipality and Bee’ah extended support to MECTW’s ‘Unsung City Cleaning Heroes’.

“MECTW was a resounding success. With a large amount of business conducted it was beneficial to all our stakeholders. There have been advances in every vertical of the cleaning and hygiene industry, and through the expo we have generated awareness about innovations in the sector. Next year, MECTW is set to grow, as we will include new fragments of the cleaning industry in the exhibition,” commented Jayaraman Nair, Chairman –VIS Exhibitions and Conferences.

The highlights of the event were the seminar sessions with experts from various verticals coming in as speakers and panel members. While Illam Kadri, president, Sealed Air Diversey Care made the key note speech at ICHC Conference (Hospitality Healthcare) Duncan Waddell, Chairman, Global FM, delivered the Opening Address at the “Soft Services FM and cleaning Contractors” session. Subhash Joshi. Regional head-automotive & transportation, Middle East and North Africa Frost & Sullivan, opened the Car care conference.
