The Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology’s three-day mega event held in October – The fifteenth Chandiwala Hospitality Ensemble – took off to a grand start at the Institute auditorium. Huge crowd comprising students, experts, trade media and faculty members was present for the event. The participants got groomed in tuch-appreciated tenets such as leadership, culinary team work and insightful learning during the three-day event.

Various competitions, ranging from those that judged the students’ express culinary judgments such as the R-Pure Regional India Culinary Contest, Zone Barwizard Bar Challenge, Chandiwala Dress the Cake Challenge, Taj Hospitality Brain Twister, ones that tested their thematic knowledge on cuisines such as the Italian Culinary Challenge, Rediscover-Indian Culinary Challenge, and aesthetic abilities such as the Chandiwala Floral Decoration Competition, Chandiwala Fruit and Vegetable Carving were conducted. Twenty hospitality colleges contested at the CHE.

The industry experts who were present at the event such as the Chief Guests Ranjan Banerjee, General Manager, Crowne Plaza Today Okhla, New Delhi, Varun Nigam, Resident Manager, The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi opined that competitions such as these were platforms that prepared the budding talent to face the challenges and groomed for the best. Even the closing “Daawat-e- Dilli” themed gala dinner hosted on October 21 too took the participants through the food heritage of old Delhi. Clean India Journal was media partner to this event.
