According to GSR Prabhakar, Joint General Manager, Goods & Services Tax (GST), Medak, “Our in-house staff is maintaining the facility at present but now we plan to outsource it. We have invited bidders from across the country, as the factory is located in a remote area, 60km away from the city in Yeddumailaram near Shankarpalli village.” The service contractor could deploy mechanised cleaning, if possible. Clean India Journal is given to understand that cleaning solutions are not available to these industries in this belt, as they are located in the remotest part of Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the Ordnance Factory Board in Korwa, an industrial establishment under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is hiring services for cleaning shops in a Green Field project for the first time. All the other factories of the board across the country have outsourced the cleaning job.
Speaking to Clean India Journal, Deepak Gupta, Joint General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Korwa said, “We will start the production from next month and so there is a requirement for mechanised cleaning of workshops, as manual cleaning is difficult for a bigger area.” The term of the contract is of one year.
