Twenty14 Holdings, the hospitality investment arm of Abu Dhabi-based LuLu Group International, plans to invest about Rs 1,000 crore in India over the next two years to build-hotels in key cities, said Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director.
The company will introduce the first ‘Tribute Portfolio by Marriott’ in Kochi as well as the first ‘Residence Inn by Marriott’ at Electronic City in Bengaluru, which will be a 150-room property. Bengaluru will also have another Marriott near the Kempegowda International Terminal while a 150-hotelrooms will be constructed near the Kannur International Terminal in Kerala. Feasibility studies are also under way for a 225-room project in Hyderabad and a resort project in Kerala.
“We are looking at a pan-India presence. We have close to 900 rooms across the globe. We intend to take this number to 2,000+ rooms through new and existing properties in the next two years,” said Ahamed.
